In the historic seaside resort, we welcome you to the old summer guesthouse Strandgaarden in Tisvilde.
After many years of Sleeping Beauty sleep, we have revived the old guesthouse and renovated the rooms so that they reflect the place's beautiful history.
We have reopened Strandgaarden's old dance hall with cultural events and look forward to welcoming you for unique experiences.
Strandgaarden
Strandgaarden's rooms are located on the first floor of the main house. All rooms have a shared bathroom and toilet in the hallway. On the ground floor there is a living room for guests. Come and enjoy the historic summer atmosphere.
We offer breakfast in the guesthouse's old restaurant, but it is also possible to make your own in the kitchenette attached to the rooms.
Tisvildeleje offers a sea of restaurants and cafes, a grocery store, a bakery, a gallery, a cinema and lots of beautiful shops. The beach is at the end of Godhavnsvej.

Prices
All rooms are decorated differently and have access to a shared bathroom/toilet in the hallway.
Prices per night:
Single room 600.00 DKK
Double room 800.00 DKK
Supplement for one night only 200.00 DKK
Breakfast per person 150.00 DKK
The surroundings
All guests have free access to Strandgaarden's large garden, with plenty of space and small cozy corners with wicker furniture for fuse.
We have extensive knowledge of the area and will be happy to recommend tours, attractions and good restaurants in Tisvilde and the surrounding area.
Breakfast
Breakfast can be ordered and served in the guesthouse's old restaurant - or you can take your breakfast out into the garden and enjoy it under the apple tree or in one of the garden's many nooks.

A cultural meeting place
Since the beginning of the 20th century, Strandgaarden has provided a setting for people to meet. We love creating great experiences and an atmospheric setting for wonderful cultural experiences.
We are in the process of developing the place and want to revive Strandgaarden as a cultural meeting place in Tisvilde. We regularly hold intimate concerts in the old stable. Follow Strandgaarden and read more about our events on Facebook. here

Sonic Saliva
Look forward to an evening of dirty soul, soulful grooves and melodic blues delights when Sonic Saliva takes the stage at Strandgaarden. Although their music is deeply rooted in classic soul and blues, the band adds completely new elements from different genres and modern productions. Spring Disco
At the request of countless people, we are reviving the old disco and holding the Spring Disco in May. The fantastic DJ Halfwood is behind the desk and will once again conjure up dance rhythms that no one can sit still to. We are looking forward to trying out our successful Kulturnat Dansesalon in a new format, in a warmer and brighter season. Tickets can be purchased here

Sam Ghezzi Vortex
Sam Ghezzi Quartet tours all over the world, but visits Tisvilde again. Come and experience the magic of real blues music and some musicians you can't get enough of! The band revives a specific blues style called "Chicago Blues" from Chicago and Illinois in the 50s, as well as "Jump Blues", a lively and swinging style with a strong influence from jazz music in the 40s.
